Paso Robles Auto Repair gets two thumbs up from me for their work on two on my vehicles-a 2011 Honda Fit and a 2002 4x4 Jeep Liberty. Everytime I call I am able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time; the staff is responsive and thorough.

I have had two experiences here. The first was with our Accord that needed work and we were unaware it might still be under warranty. This shop suggested we try and even called Honda on our behalf. Turns out it was and their thoroughness saved us $800!!! Next, our Pilot was shaking like crazy and we had previously taken it to another shop that said everything was fine and the shaking was probably due to the warm weather. Things worsened and we wanted a second opinion. Took it here and they said the rotors were almost shot but were able to fix it and now the Pilot drives normally again. No shudder. Thank goodness. My husband and I would highly recommend this shop!!

Giving a five star (or one star) rating to a business on the first visit doesn't give a true picture of the service over time. So here I am a year later back for my second visit at Paso Robles Auto Repair giving another five star rating for excellent customer service both over the phone and in the shop. I specifically sought PasoAuto because of my satisfaction last time, and this time was even more satisfying. Thanks to Issac and Greg for quick, clean, and friendly service! I needed a smog check for a car I bought from Florida, and I needed it quick so I could register the vehicle in CA. Based on the reviews here, I bypassed every other smog shop to come to Paso Robles Auto Repair. Unfortunately, the mechanic who does the smog testing was out of the shop, and no one else was qualified. Nonetheless, they estimated his return, and we made an appointment accordingly. I returned at the appointed time, but the mechanic was not back. The other guys were proactive in calling and texting him to find out his return time, and they agreed that I could wait until he returned. It took longer than anyone wanted (he had a good reason, BTW), but eventually he arrived and immediately worked on the smog test, took care of the paperwork, and wished me well. The price was reasonable, and everyone working there seemed friendly and honest. I'm a happy customer because they took me in rather than making me come back another day, the price was reasonable, and, once things got in motion, it was a smooth experience.

Brought my old truck in for smog check and was treated to excellent, honest service. The technicians were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and the work areas were clean and well organized. As an older woman, I appreciated that they listened to me and took the time to explain certain issues with me. I recently moved back to Paso Robles and am very happy to now have a place I can trust to care for my vehicle. They are the BEST!!

I took my truck in to get a smog inspection. Their laptop crashed, which delayed things. But I was still in and out in <30 minutes. The employees were courteous. Good experience.

So fast, friendly, and convenient. My smog test was quick. Greg Lemons always does good work for us, and Isaac at the desk was friendly and professional. I expected a wait and was out of there before I knew it.

They rebuilt my air conditioning system in my 93 Corvette using parts I acquired, new condenser and HP switch and the accumulator that they provided. It works well, although they estimated 5 hours labor, but it took them two days to get it done, hence the four star rating. It seems that they take tow-ins, with out-of-town people standing around waiting for their car, so mine just sat at times. The Chevy dealer couldn't do this job because my car has the old type refrigerant, which they could not provide, but Paso Robles Auto can. Good job overall by Greg, but don't be in a hurry. This is my second time to use these guys - the first was when they did the smog test on the Corvette - it also took a lot longer than they estimated.
